Better use at least these three sister plugins together and achieve PODs functionality perhaps with improved ease of use:

• Meta Box – WordPress Custom Fields Framework
• MB Custom Post Types & Custom Taxonomies
• MB Relationships

and if you also use Elementor, then you’ll probably also need: Meta Box – Elementor Integrator

Tested it in local-Wopr9 In the end I never made it to create anything more than custom post types and Taxonomies (even with the other plugins). Obviously you need to buy something to get the additional functionality.
